Abstract

Performance is something that is important for the continuity of the company. Companies are required to be able to identify, manage, and improve business processes. This study aims to assess the performance of PT. BPR X Kebumen with a balanced scorecard approach that is assessed from four perspectives. This study uses a balanced scorecard and analytical hierarcy process for measurement and looking for performance optimization solutions at PT. BPR X Kebumen. Data collection carried out at PT. BPR X Kebumen with in-depth interviews with experts, financial statement data, and observations. The results showed that the financial perspective had the highest weighting results with a value of 0.359. The internal business process perspective has the second highest value with a value of 0.264. The customer perspective ranks third with a value of 0.244, and the last is the growth and learning perspective with a weighting result of 0.133. The results of this study can be used by PT. BPR X Kebumen as a performance optimization strategy at PT. BPR X Kebumen.

Abstract

Work-life Balance (WLB) can affect employee attitudes in the company, such as job satisfaction (JS) and also have an effect on the quality of work-life (QWL). This study aims to test and analyze the significance of the direct and indirect influence of WLB on JS through QWL as a mediator, by taking the object of PT KAI (Persero) Daop 7 Madiun employees. The research approach is quantitative. The primary data used in the study were obtained from a questionnaire on research variables distributed to 115 employees of PT KAI (Persero) Daop 7 Madiun as a research sample. The sampling technique used is proportionate stratified random sampling. Data analysis using path analysis, processed with SPSS and Sobel Test software. The results of empirical studies show that: 1) WLB can significantly increase JS; 2) WLB can significantly improve the QWL; 3) QWL can significantly increase JS; 4) QWL partially mediates the effect of WLB on JS.

Abstract

Employee job satisfaction is disrupted during a pandemic, there are many concerns about being infected at work. The implementation of health protocols has been carried out as a new culture (new normal) to reduce the transmission rate in the workplace. This application is also accompanied by leadership commitment as a form of leadership responsibility in times of crisis. This study aimed to determine the relationship between health protocols, leadership commitment, and employee job satisfaction during a pandemic. The research was conducted using a quantitative method with PLS-SEM analysis by using SmartPLS 3. The number of research samples as many as 96 people conducted at Banyuwangi International Airport. The results showed that the health protocol had no effect on job satisfaction but had an influence on leadership commitment, while leadership commitment influences job satisfaction, at the same time the leadership commitment has succeeded in fully mediating the relationship between the health protocol and job satisfaction. This study tries to reveal a new variable in quantitative research: Health Protocol, which has been often referred to by Indonesian people for two years. We try to find the relationship with job satisfaction through leadership commitment.

Abstract

Today, the ability of a corporation to continually maintain and improve the quality of client service is largely dependent on staff performance. Companies with high-performing personnel can assist in maintaining customer satisfaction. Perumdam Tirta Kencana Region III Samarinda City is in severe need of outstanding staff performance to enhance community services and boost enterprise output. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of motivation, job satisfaction, discipline, and environment on the performance of Perumdam Tirta Kencana Region III Samarinda City personnel. The data analyzed originated from 56 employee questionnaires. Utilizing the technique of saturated sample for data collection (population). Data analysis with Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS version 3.2.9. The results indicated that motivation, job satisfaction, and discipline had a favorable impact on employee performance. The environment has no major effect on employee performance, though. Increased employee motivation, job satisfaction, and work discipline will result in enhanced performance.

Abstract

First Media as a broadband internet service provider optimizes marketing strategies through digital content using celebrity endorsements. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of: (i) celebrity attractiveness on advertising credibility, brand credibility and brand satisfaction; (ii) celebrity trustworthiness on advertising credibility, brand credibility, and brand satisfaction; (iii) celebrity expertise on advertising credibility, brand credibility and brand satisfaction. This research method uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires and involving 200 samples. Structural Equation Model (SEM) is used to determine the effect between constructs in this research model. The results of this study explain that in the case of First Media it is important to maintain the celebrity endorsement marketing strategy in increasing advertising credibility, brand credibility and brand satisfaction. Attractiveness and trust are one of the important factors of credibility. In this model it is known that advertising credibility, brand credibility, and brand satisfaction can be key factors for high repurchase intention.

Abstract

The rsearch to test the moderation of management ownership to impact profitability to firm value. Data used is secondary data. Population is manufacturing companies whose shares are on IDX during 2016-2020. The advantage of sampling with data pooling is that by obtaining a larger number of samples, it is hoped that it will increase the strength of the test. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling: Manufacturing companies with ownership composition shares, which are owned by management in the firm with a total of more than 1% of the total outstanding shares. Firm value is influenced by profitability, if profitability increases, it will have an impact to increasing firm value. Management ownership is proven not to moderate the impact of profitability to firm value, that impact profitability on firm value is not significantly strengthened by the interaction of management ownership variables so that management ownership is not a moderating in interaction profitability to firm value. Firm value will increase, influence of profitability to firm value can lead to positive sentiment for investors, investors managers should continue to work hard, so the firm value can increase.

Abstract

Competitive advantage is one of the success factors of businesses in managing their resources and capabilities. An organization must be able to outperform the competition through the creation of unique, rare, and valuable products. Business units can increase their competitiveness through strategic alliances. Theoretical studies related to the factors that a business unit can carry out in the formation of alliances are necessary for increased competitive advantage. The purpose of this study: first, to provide a review of the latest literature related to competitive advantages that can be achieved through alliances. Second, identify the upcoming research agenda. Third, it recommends a new research framework. This research used the systematic literature review method. The data used in this article comes from proposed future research agendas from 23 previous research articles published in the last 5 years (2018-2022). The output of this study is the recommendation of a theoretical framework.

Abstract

Business growth in Indonesia is currently growing very rapidly. Business competition is becoming increasingly stringent and requires business actors to continue to innovate. Aisyah Cake Shop as a newly operating business must be able to compete with other business actors. So that a business development strategy is needed that can provide changes in the future. Therefore, efforts to develop a business development strategy at Aisyah Cake Shop then use the SWOT analysis method approach and the prospective analysis method. The SWOT analysis method can identify internal and external business conditions and provide strategic recommendations based on existing conditions based on internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (opportunities and threats) at Aisyah Cake Shop. The use of prospective analysis can provide an overview of strategy formulation by involving decision makers (stakeholders) based on the possibilities that may occur in the future. This study aims to formulate and determine strategies that can be applied to deal with conditions in the future. The results of the preparation of the business development strategy which are the main priorities for implementation are recruiting new workers, consistently implementing quality control in the production process and monitoring and evaluating raw materials.

Abstract

UMKM Rajapolah is one of the areas in Tasikmalaya which produces handicrafts from mendong, pandanus and water hyacinth plants. Products from this handicraft have long been in demand by various groups of local tourists and have succeeded in penetrating the international market. The number of business actors engaged in the industry is currently 939 MSMEs. This study aims to identify resources and capabilities through value chain activities in creating sustainable competitive advantage in the Rajapolah handicraft industry. The research method used in this study is qualitative. Data collection was carried out by means of semi-structured interviews which were freer in finding research problems and distributing questionnaires. The sampling method used is the snowball technique by producing 5 respondents. The results of the study state that the external analysis of Porter's Five Forces shows that the attractiveness of the Rajapolah craft industry is less attractive. The level of sales of Rajapolah handicrafts has not returned to normal since the pandemic emerged, this is supported by the fact that 63% of MSMEs have difficulty running company operations. Based on the internal analysis of the value chain produces 9 resources and 13 capabilities in increasing customer value.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate the tracking feature on customer experience using cell phone repair services. This research uses explanatory research method. The research sample taking method is the quota sampling method, namely 196 students at Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Cipasung. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires through the Google Form. The rating scale used is Likert. The data that has been collected is tested for its validity and reliability. The application used for data testing and visualization is Microsoft Excel. The results of data processing show that the resulting percentage value is between 80-100%. These results show consumers "Strongly Agree" that tracking services in the smartphone repair business are needed. The tracking feature can provide benefits and added value to the smartphone repair business so that it can provide a positive experience for consumers. With this research, it is hoped that every cellphone repair business will provide a tracking feature, so consumers can get information about their smartphone when it is repaired.
